Winery Description

Location and History

Nestled at the foot of the Dewetsberg mountain in the Scherpenheuvel region, Cilmor Wines is part of the Worcester wine route. The estate spans an impressive 430 hectares, providing a perfect terroir for growing a variety of grapes. Since its inception in the early 1990s by visionary Cecil Morgan, the winery has focused on creating modern wines that showcase the unique expression of the region’s cultivars. Cilmor has a state-of-the-art cellar that can process up to 10,000 tons of grapes, supported by advanced technology and the expertise of winemaker Quintin van der Westhuizen. With its commitment to sustainability and Fairtrade practices, Cilmor Wines provides substantial support to around 100 permanent employees and their families.
