Winery Description
Location and History
D'Aria can be found in the Durbanville Wine Valley, between Durbanville and Bloubergstrand, known as ‘Sauvignon Blanc Country’. D’Aria is a destination wine farm with a tasting room with inside and outside seating. Visitors can sit on the deck under the trees or on the lawn with lots of space for groups and people with children. Your furry friends are also welcome at D’Aria.



Wine Tasting
The tasting room is open daily and offers cheese and charcuterie platters, food and wine pairings and kids pairings. Guests can indulge in a seasonal High Tea wine pairing - a selection of delicious bites paired with D’Aria wines. This offering changes with the seasons. Look out for their Easter edition coming soon.
Wines at D’Aria include two sparkling wines: Pop Song, made from Sauvignon Blanc, and Love Song is a Shiraz Rosé. White wines include their D’Aria Sauvignon Blanc, The Songbird Sauvignon Blanc (Reserve Range) and a white blend made with Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. The D’Aria Blush is a Rosé made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Carignan. Red wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz from their D’Aria Range, The Soprano Shiraz from their Reserve Range and a red blend. D’Aria also produces Potstill Brandy and Gin.



Restaurant
The Copper Club runs the restaurants at D’Aria. Botany is a cocktail lounge serving various drinks and offering a tapas menu. Patina is a steakhouse where menu items include a variety of seafood like Norwegian Salmon, Kingklip and Prawn Risotto, while other main dishes include various meat dishes such as Chateaubriand, Ribs and Trinchado. The Terrace serves sushi, pizza, salads and various main dishes including steak, fish and chips, burgers and pregos.



Accommodation
There are 12 self-catering cottages on the farm, each with two bedrooms sleeping four people.



Tours and Activities
The function venue has recently been refurbished and can be booked for weddings and functions.D’Aria can also be visited as part of a Durbanville Wine Safari, a hop-on, hop-off experience. Their safari vehicles will take care of your transport while the guides give guests an insight into the history of Durbanville and the Wine Valley.
