HER Wine Collection was founded by women with years of experience in the wine industry who recognised an opportunity to create something different: an all-female, all-Black wine business that brings together their skills, passion and experience. Today, HER is built entirely by women across the wine value chain, from viticulture and winemaking to finance, logistics, marketing and sales.

At the heart of the collection are General Manager and Winemaker Praisy Dlamini and Viticulturist Ruth Faro, who carefully nurture each vineyard block to express its unique character. From the soil to the cellar, their focus is on quality, authenticity and creating wines that are balanced, approachable and beautifully drinkable. The wines celebrate the diversity of Western Cape terroir and the passion of the women who craft them.

HER is about more than wine; it is about creating opportunities and supporting future generations. The company contributes 2% of its profits to a scholarship fund for young, talented individuals from farming communities. Successful candidates receive financial assistance towards their studies, as well as mentorship to help them confidently navigate the working world.
