Nestled in the scenic McGregor Valley, Lord's Wines stands at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, surrounded by the McGregor Mountains. The unique terroir, characterized by lime-rich soils and cool climate breezes from the ocean, contributes to the exceptional quality of their wines, particularly their acclaimed Pinot Noir. Founded in 2006 by viticulturist Jacie Oosthuizen, the winery was inspired by a love for both cricket and quality winemaking. The estate spans 33 hectares with 14 hectares dedicated to vineyards, primarily focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which remain key components of their offerings. Over the years, Lord’s Wines has earned various accolades for its commitment to sustainable practices and producing high-quality wines that reflect the region’s attributes.
