Situated at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains, the Lynx Collection is uniquely positioned between the notable wine regions of Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschhoek in South Africa. This scenic location allows for breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and picturesque vineyards. The estate comprises a boutique wine farm and two guesthouses, with the original vineyard entrusted to the passionate hands of the Konen family, who embrace the philosophy of sustainability and environmental conservation in their operations. Founded in 2018 by Manuel and Brigitte Konen and their daughters, the Witnex Wine Estate focuses on producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. With a commitment to craftsmanship and quality, the family-led team implements innovative and traditional winemaking techniques, enhancing the overall experience for guests at the estate.

Wine Tasting

The wine tasting experience at Lynx Estate showcases a variety of wines, meticulously crafted to reflect the passion and expertise of the winemaking team led by cellar master Pierre. Guests can sample an array of wines, including the flagship Spirit of Lynx and various selections from the Reserve and Lynx range. The tasting room, a cozy and inviting space nestled within the winery, offers a relaxed environment for visitors to learn about the wine production process, from vine to bottle. The Levante Restaurant at Lynx showcases a delicious array of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, crafted by chef Emile Fortuin and his dedicated kitchen team. The menu features a mix of small and large dishes, highlighting seasonally sourced ingredients from their on-site gardens. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant serves lunch and dinner.
