Oneiric Wines

Winery Description

Location and History

Nestled in the picturesque Elgin Valley, Oneiric Wine Estate offers a serene environment characterized by its cool climate. The 64-hectare estate thrives on the region's rich terroir, which is ideal for producing high-quality grapes. The valley experiences unique climatic conditions that result in remarkable flavor profiles in the grapes. Matt Pascall purchased the estate in 2007, aiming to create exceptional wines that reflect the region's potential. His deep-rooted passion for winemaking is evident through the involvement of his family in various aspects, notably in the artistic creation of the wine labels that incorporate a distinctive copper theme, inspired by Matt's previous career in copper mining. The winery embraces a winemaking philosophy that balances fruit, tannins, and finishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every bottle. The estate not only serves as a production site but also provides breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it an enticing destination for wine lovers.
