Nestled in the scenic Simondium Guild, this winery boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards, situated between the historical towns of Paarl and Franschhoek in South Africa. The region is celebrated for its unique terroir, comprised of varied soils and elevations that contribute to the complex flavors of the wines produced. The estate itself has a rich winery history, inaugurated in 2006 by founders Emma and Jeremy Borg, both passionate about winemaking and wildlife conservation. This picturesque setting, characterized by rolling hills and lush greenery, is the perfect backdrop for visitors looking to explore South Africa's renowned wine culture while supporting wildlife conservation efforts.

Wine Tasting

At the tasting room, visitors experience a warm welcome and a chance to sample a diverse selection of wines. The winery offers the 'Den' collection designed for casual enjoyment, alongside 'The Pack' collection, featuring premium wines sourced from organically or sustainably-farmed vineyards. Signature vintages include exceptional Chenin Blanc, a range of Rhone-style blends, and boutique offerings like the Pictus VIII 2018 and Lycaon Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2021. Guests can also book in advance for exclusive Alpha Tastings, which provide a curated experience of their top selections in a more intimate setting. The tasting room is designed for comfort and an enjoyable atmosphere, encouraging visitors to learn more about the wine-making process and the stories behind each bottle, as they sip on delightful flavors amidst a captivating vineyard setting.

Restaurant

The winery does not operate a full-scale restaurant but provides light snacks and curated wine experiences that enhance the tasting visits.
