Location and History

Rhebokskloof Wine Estate is steeped in history, founded in 1797 in the Noord-Agter region of Paarl, South Africa. This picturesque estate is named after the endemic Rhebok antelope, with its stunning landscapes and varied terroir influencing wine quality. The estate features a rich mix of soil types and microclimates due to its diverse elevations, creating optimal conditions for grape cultivation. The vineyards extend from 100m to just below 500m above sea level, blessed with cooling breezes that flow down the mountain in the afternoons. Over 36 hectares are under cultivation, focusing primarily on red varieties such as Shiraz, Pinotage, and Mourvèdre. The estate combines historical charm with modern winemaking practices, ensuring high standards and exceptional quality in every bottle produced. Rhebokskloof epitomizes the elegance and allure of the Cape Winelands, attracting visitors eager to experience its beauty and craftsmanship.
