The estate's soil primarily consists of decomposed granite with clay, which contributes to the wines' quality and character. Established through a commitment to organic farming, Stark-Condé emphasizes sustainability and natural growing methods, resulting in wines rich in flavor and complexity. The winery is the vision of self-taught winemaker José Conde, who, along with vineyard manager Andrew Klink, has dedicated years to cultivating and perfecting the estate's offerings. Since officially receiving organic certification in 2021, the winery has continued to focus on simplicity and quality in its winemaking processes.
